Hip movements, foot stomping, the contagious energy that spreads from one person to another - all of these elements connect us to the primal urge for release and connection to something greater through rhythm and movement.
'Anamorphose' is an audio-visual research that traces the experience of dance as an instinct and as a universal need for release: of the body, of consciousness, and of all the rules and limitations that exist in everyday reality.

the video explores the universal language of dance through found footage from diverse cultures and societies all over the world. Each movement carries a deep historical and cultural significance, carefully curated and reimagined through editing. By isolating dancers from their original surroundings and merging them into new compositions, i could create a new narrative of connection
